1. I am concerned that the second hand items are old and dirty.
The donated items are sorted, cleaned and organized for sales to the public. Besides, even though the items are donated, some of the items are brand new and are in good condition. Hence, in SOSN, not only second-hand items can be found. There are also second-hand items that are new.
2. Where will the sale proceeds go to?
The sale proceeds will go to Simei Care Centre in helping the psychiatric members in their journey towards long-term recovery.
3. What donated items do SOSN take in?
SOSN takes in the following items: apparels, household items, electrical appliances, toys, children’s items, shoes, bags and CDs/DVDs, that are in better condition. It will definitely help SOSN in running its social enterprise as the items in better condition will be more saleable.
4. What if I have a large quantity of items to donate?
You can contact any of the staff at SOSN so that they can arrange transportation to collect the items.
5. How can I make a donation?
You can simply go to any of the branches during the opening hours to make your item donation.
6. Why should I support SOSN?
You can make a difference today by shopping at SOSN! The social enterprise has a social cause of assisting the psychiatric members in their journey towards long-term recovery. Hence, by shopping in SOSN, you are doing a good cause.
